Valentino AW16

This show was absolutely one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had, both through the lens of a street style photographer, and the eyes of a fashion freak scouring over articles online. From the moment you approached the tent that sat in the Tuileries Gardens outside of the Louvre, you heard piano playing and soft chatter everywhere. Though I was not lucky enough to be allowed inside, think Valentino royalty Dakota Fanning-type invites only, everyone who arrived at this show dressed in Pre-Fall 2016 was glowing, and the stark contrast from their bold reds, greens, and oranges stood out.

The show mimicked a dance, with flowing toulle, sequins, and even lace up ballet shoes. Every model had her hair perfectly placed in a chignon on the back of her head, and glided down the runway with ease. I am completely mesmerized by this collection. There were over 80 looks in this collection, so if you would like to see more, click here.

Someday, I hope to be lucky enough to be invited to such an amazing spectacle, but for now, I am so happy to view the pieces from afar.

Heart eyes everywhere. Seriously.
